Hong Kong - The City Nightlife |
Night in Hong Kong is as you would expect awesome with many bars, clubs and restaurants as well as good entertainment. There are just to many to name so i will give a run down of what to expect and where. This all depends what sort of night life you are looking for and how many are in your group, these bars do get full. Right there is the cosy dinner for two with soft music, the bar for drinking, the disco bar or the bar for something else?(boys).
There are also other ways to spend a evening like the Pearl of the River cruise, a restaurant boat. These trips are different to sitting in a hotel restaurant for instance you will have a nice breeze a moving landscape of the city with its skyscrapers, the lights the views and this is on both sides of you. The food is splendid and the service is very good, so have i think a nice leisure cruise or a restaurant in the city.
Mind you there are some top international restaurant of the highest quality the food is spectacular and the service is second to none. Here is a list of some of the top restaurants,
The Peninsula hotel (Salisbury Rd), Yu Restaurant (Salisbury Rd), Cafe Deco (situated on the peak), Grissini (Harbour Rd), and Felix (Salisbury Rd).
There are of course more top class restaurants within Hong Kong and are listed on the internet. Having had the good fortune to have eaten at on of these restaurants and boy do you feel special, i know lots of other eating establishments will make you feel the same. Cafe Deco is situated on The Peak over looking the city and the harbour, the views is spectacular.
Another way to spend an evening, what about a flutter on the races at Happy Valley racecourse. They have a race meeting on a Wednesday evening and its good fun. Plenty of eating and drinking establishments and it will be a good night, watching your horse romp home will make the night even better.
Lan Kwai Fong is a bussing center of pubs, night clubs, bars and restaurants of all types. Unfortunately these pubs, clubs and bars do get extremely full so get there early to avoid disappointment.
